Research Scientist - Computational Physics
We are hiring one research scientist with broad expertise in modeling and computational methods to lead at least one of our computational efforts. This includes:
- Modeling of CO₂ injected in a saturated porous medium in the subsurface, within the correct THMC (thermal-mechanical-chemical) framework
- Imaging the subsurface from backscattered X-rays
Prior experience in geomechanics, rock physics, or geophysics is helpful but not required. While the position is primarily aimed at early-career (postdoctoral) candidates, we welcome applications from candidates at all experience levels. Compensation commensurate with experience. This is a fully remote position with flexible working conditions. While Qgeo is located in the Boston area and we prefer employees to be local, you will have the flexibility to work from home, or any location of your choice, as long as you meet project requirements and deadlines.
